The Steve Prescott Foundation is really delighted to announce that the Horizon Defibrillator Award will be presented to one local community group at this year’s SolarKing Commercial Pride of St Helens Awards on Friday 11th November.
The businessmen and ladies of the Horizon Business Group based at Thatto Heath Crusaders St Helens have come together to collect and purchase Xmas Items and donated the same to the Food Bank in St Helens based at the Hope Centre Atherton Street St Helens.
Mike Ashall Chairman of the Group commented “As local business people here in St Helens we felt it was fitting that we came together to help those who need it most in our community especially at Christmas. I have been and visited the Foodbank and discussed the amazing work that they are doing. People imagine that this is being handed out to the homeless in our town but there are too many families who for many reasons are struggling financially across the borough”
